The Armadillo Software Protection System can't be used with your files, because the application was discontinued along with the website and all the services. You will have to use another protection for your files. You can read below the official statement found on the website that hosted Armadillo software.
"Starting on January 1, 2013, Software Passport terminated all sales for the Software Passport product lineup. Beginning on July 1, 2014, we will be removing the Software Passport website. In the near future, Software Passport will not be supported." - Official website.
As an alternative, browse the database of Software Informer with applications related to file protection. The Sentinel application might be good for your needs.
